Joining the safari at their favorite zoo were 250 black-tie supporters. Hosted by the Friends of Santa Ana Zoo, guests sipped on the “Serengeti Sunset” cocktail, said hello to some fun zoo animals and enjoyed a delicious repast on the zoo’s spacious lawn. The safari ambiance enticed and the Groove Factory band brought smiles. Nearly $110,000 net proceeds were realized. Photography Ann Chatillon
